Rainbow Rabbits Retirement Home is a small Sanctuary for Disabled and Elderly rabbits in South Bedfordshire. We provide a loving home for Rabbits over the age of 5 years and those with a disability, long-term health or behavioural problem for the rest of their natural lives. We currently have 37 resident bunnies.

We do not take in or rehome private rabbits but we can offer you advice and help if you need to rehome your rabbit or can offer a rescue rabbit a loving home.

Unfortunately we can no longer offer a home to any new rabbits for the next few months.
Over recent months we have been having a very tough time here at the sanctuary leaving us both emotionally and financially exhausted. In order for Rainbow Rabbits to continue in the long term we need to take a step back so that we can come back refreshed and help more special rabbits in the future. During our "break" we will continue to give the very best care to the rabbits we already have with us, many who are now terminally ill. We also desperately need to fundraise to reduce our vet bill. As you can appreciate looking after so many seriously sick rabbits costs an enormous amount of money and at present we just cannot afford to take on any new rabbits. Please continue to support us and the work we do, without your support we would not have been able to help so many rabbits in the past, so thank you.
